This past weekend Brazil captured the title in the first ever trination Sul Americano tournament after rolling over Team Chile 55-0 on the final day of the event.

The Brazilians had previously overwhelmed Colombia 56-0.

From the opening kickoff it was clear that Brazil was going to control the game. Quarterback Àlvaro Fadini marched his team down the field and then connected with Lucas Adolfo for the opening score of the game.

After a few stalled drives from both teams, Brazil added another touchdown before the end of the first quarter as running back Maranhão found the end zone.

Brazil continued to dominate throughout the second quarter adding three more touchdowns as Adolfo, Heron Azevedo and Bernardo Horevitch all scored to extend the Brazilian lead to 35-0 before halftime.

Brazil changed quarterbacks to start the second half  with Lucas Caravita stepping in behind center, but the offense continued to dominate as Caravita threw two more touchdown passes, one to Athos Daniel and the other to Victor Vilaça. Brazil also blocked a Chilean punt which Munir Ahmed recovered to score another touchdown.

As the final seconds of the game ticked down, Brazil began celebrating their 55-0 championship victory.

After claiming the throne to American Football in South America, the Brazil Onças now look ahead to see what they can do in the qualifiers for the IFAF World Championships which are slated for 2025.
